Type 2 Diabetes Prevention Program
This program is based on a landmark study, funded by the National Institutes of Health. This highly successful program is called the Diabetes Prevention Program (DPP) and is intended to be a 22-Week program.
In this program you will learn: Facts about healthy eating and being active, What makes it hard for you to eat healthy and be active, and how to change these things so they work for you, not against you. You will have weekly homework assignments and at the end of each session, we will do a 10 to 15 minute mini-workout with flexibility moves included, so dress in comfortable clothing that you can move in. I highly encourage you to attend each week. You may also join in for the DPP Live Workouts with me a couple of other evenings a week (optional).
